Hotel Hubertus
A five-star alpine wellness hotel in South Tyrol
Perched between heaven and earth in South Tyrol’s Val Pusteria, Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus is a place where architecture, nature, and wellbeing dissolve into one continuous experience. Surrounded by the Dolomites and open alpine landscapes, this family-run five-star hotel invites guests to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters. It is not simply a destination, but a state of mind shaped by silence, space, and the rhythms of the mountains.

Overview
The story of Hotel Hubertus is one of vision, continuity, and quiet ambition. What began as a modest mountain inn has evolved, over decades, into one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive wellness hotels. Still owned and run by the Gasser family, Hubertus reflects a deeply personal approach to hospitality, where every architectural decision, spatial flow, and sensory detail is rooted in a genuine love for place. The hotel does not dominate its surroundings; it grows from them.
Architecture plays a central role in the Hubertus experience. The semi-circular structure follows the natural slope of the hillside, while bold interventions like the Sky Pool and Heaven & Hell Sky Spa redefine the relationship between body and landscape. Floating above the valley, these spaces erase boundaries between indoors and outdoors, water and sky. Floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials, and restrained interiors ensure that the mountains remain the constant focal point.
Wellbeing at Hubertus is expansive and immersive. The Alpenreych Park, indoor and outdoor pools, multiple sauna worlds, relaxation pavilions, and spa treatments inspired by alpine nature offer countless ways to unwind. Whether floating weightlessly above the valley, warming up in a panoramic sauna, or resting by the fireplace, the experience is designed to restore balance, not overwhelm the senses.
Culinary life follows the same philosophy. Led by chef Antonio Triscari, the kitchen translates the surrounding landscape onto the plate through refined alpine cuisine rooted in regional ingredients. Days at Hubertus unfold gently: active mornings in the mountains, restorative afternoons in the spa, and evenings shaped by thoughtful food, firelight, and silence. It is a place where time stretches, priorities shift, and presence becomes effortless.

“We always try to create places that allow people to feel free, protected, and deeply connected to nature. Architecture, for us, is a way to give emotions a physical form.”
— Christian Gasser, Owner
